What is a Reformer?
Not sure what this funny looking machine is that looks like a mixture between a bed, rowing machine and torture device? Read about it here.
What Is a Reformer?

The Reformer was invented by Joseph Pilates, it’s a sliding carriage with springs, straps, and bars designed to build strength, improve flexibility, correct posture.

How Does It Work?

-
The springs add resistance
-
The carriage glides as you push, pull, or plank.
-
The straps and foot bar guide your movement with control and precision.

Think of it as strength training, stretching, balance work, and core conditioning.

Why People LOVE the Reformer (and You Might Too)

-
It’s Joint-Friendly: No jumping, no pounding — just smooth, controlled movements that are kind to your knees, hips, and back.
-
It Builds Serious Core Strength: Not just abs — deep core muscles that support your spine, improve posture, and make you feel powerful.
-
It Tones Without Bulking: Long, lean muscles
-
It’s Mind-Body Magic: You’ll leave class feeling taller, calmer, and more put-together (even if your hair is a mess).

But… it sounds complicated, will I look silly?

No worries! Everyone starts somewhere — and I love teaching beginners. You'll get plenty of verbal and hands on guidance from me to help build your confidence and get you moving without feeling silly!
